Shell created a light powered by gravity, using bags of flour as weights. This offered a safer alternative to kerosine in developing nations. The light ran long enough to read a chid a bedtime story, and so I began retelling folk tales from all across the world.
Before Shell took them off their official Youtube channel, one had amassed 8m views.
The overall campaign won Cannes Gold.
